Mandatory Ethics Education
The current quadrennial period for meeting the mandatory ethics education requirement has entered its first year. The deadline for compliance is December 31, 2012. In order to help members fulfill this requirement, the Stark County Association of REALTORS®
will be offering "Ethics: The Measure of Professionalism" course, taught by John Niebel of Tuxedo Training, on a monthly basis.
You also may fulfill this requirement online by visiting NAR's site or at OAR's site. Please note, if you take this course outside of
SCAR, you will be required to provide SCAR with proof of class completion by faxing your course certificate to 330-232-8502, mailing
it to: 4848 Munson St. N.W., Canton, Ohio 44718 or dropping a copy off at the Association.
This mandatory ethics requirement must be fulfilled by ALL SCAR REALTOR® members, including SCAR REALTOR® appraiser
members. SCAR affiliate appraiser members are excluded from this requirement.
